Timothy Xavier Donaldson: a singular and genuine talent, equally sanguine whether creating letterforms using cutting-edge software and promoting them through web-design,or scraping those same shapes in damp sand on the shoreline of a remote island using only driftwood. Applying his personal committment to the beauty of hand drawn letterforms to modern type design methods has ensured that his fonts frequently reveal the presence of a joyful creativity behind the design.
Timothy has received awards for his type designs, which are available from Adobe, ITC and Fontshop Inter-national, and is currently expanding his design studio interests, and remains a core lecturer on the BTEC ND Graphic Design course at Stafford College, a curriculum area awarded the highest grade after a recent inspection.
